three-storey laboratory building, with basement, to be converted into office
accomodation for operational staff. |

enable staff to be permanently relocated from temporary accomodation, allowing
future development on the resulting vacated site. |

Approval
to proceed given in June 1999. Occupation of accomodation started October
2000. |

Notable
for the short lead-in from final approval. The project has been used to
further develop Fusion values and is being included as a demonstration
project for the Movement for Innovation (M4i).

Decontamination
and demolition started in March 1999 with reconstruction commenced in August.
Prior to start, profit levels were ringfenced and procurement routes negotiated
with partnering companies. |
